Ruth’s debut feature film THE SPACE BETWEEN made history as the very first co-production between Italy and Australia. It was selected as Australia’s official entry to the 90th Academy Awards for ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ in 2018 and screened at Palm Springs in the Awards Buzz Section as well as premiering at the Roma Internazionale Festa di Cinema. It was released theatrically Australia-wide by Palace Films and across 31 cities in Italy by Cinecitta Luce in 2017.

Since completing her feature, Ruth has been in development on several projects across cinema and TV, including NIGHTFLOWERS, supported by the Fondo Audio Visivo FVG, TOYGIRL, supported by VicScreen, THE MEMORY OF WATER, also supported by VicScreen, I AM X and THE GOD PARTICLE, with Roadshow Rough Diamond. She is attached as a director to several projects at various stages of development across film, TV and VR.
